Luxury Golden Triangle Tour India - Delhi, Agra & Jaipur
Stay at Oberoi, Leela, Raffles & Taj - 6 Days of Refined India
There’s a version of India that most travelers never quite reach not because it’s hidden, but because it takes someone who knows the way in.
This is that version, Six days across Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, staying at three of the country’s most storied addresses: The Leela Palace in the capital, The Oberoi Amarvilas within sight of the Taj Mahal, and Taj Rambagh Palace, once home to Jaipur’s royal family. Everything in between the drivers, the guides, the small details you’d never think to ask for is handled before you land.
We’ve been arranging journeys like this since 2019, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: luxury in India isn’t about adding more. It’s about removing everything that gets in the way of actually being here.

Three Names That Define Indian Luxury Hospitality
If you’ve traveled well before, you may already know these names. If this is your first trip to India, they’re worth knowing before you arrive.
The Oberoi Group
Founded in India and built on a reputation for quiet, meticulous service, Oberoi properties are consistently ranked among the finest hotels in the world. The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra is the standout example — built within view of the Taj Mahal, with Mughal-inspired terraced gardens, reflecting pools, and rooms designed so the monument is part of the view, not something you travel out to see.
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts
A newer name than Oberoi or Taj, but one that has earned its place among them. The Leela blends traditional Indian architecture and hospitality customs with a distinctly modern sense of comfort. The Leela Palace New Delhi, set in the city’s diplomatic quarter, is where your journey begins — a calm, palatial base before Delhi’s energy takes over.
Taj Hotels (IHCL)
India’s oldest and most storied luxury hospitality name, part of the Tata Group. Taj doesn’t just build luxury hotels it restores palaces. Rambagh Palace in Jaipur was once the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, and staying there isn’t a themed experience; it’s the real building, with the real history, still standing.
Your 6-Day Journey, Day by Day
Land in Delhi and step directly into ease our representative meets you at the airport and takes care of everything from there. Check in to The Leela Palace New Delhi, set in the city’s diplomatic enclave, and spend the rest of the day exactly how you’d like: resting after your flight, or stepping out with your guide for a first, unhurried look at the city. Overnight at the Leela Palace New Delhi
A full day exploring a city that layers six empires on top of one another, Walk through Old Delhi’s Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, then see how the city shifts into its colonial and modern character at India Gate and Humayun’s Tomb Mughal architecture so influential it later shaped the design of the Taj Mahal itself. Overnight at The Leela Palace New Delhi.
Drive to Agra and check in to The Oberoi Amarvilas, where every room looks out toward the Taj Mahal you won’t need to leave the hotel to see it. Visit Agra Fort in the afternoon, then watch the Taj change color at sunset, one of the most genuinely moving sights in the world regardless of how many photographs you’ve seen of it. Overnight at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra.
An early visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, when the light and the crowds are both at their gentlest, Then drive to Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital, along the way. Check in to Taj Rambagh Palace the actual former residence of Jaipur’s royal family and spend the evening taking in a property that doesn’t need to try to feel regal. Overnight at Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur
A full day in Jaipur, starting with Amber Fort arrive by private jeep and explore its mirrored halls and hilltop views followed by the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and the astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar. In the evening, walk Jaipur’s bazaars for textiles, gemstones, and jewelry that have been traded here for generations. Overnight at Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur
After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur airport for your onward flight, or drive back to Delhi if your international connection departs from there either way, arranged and confirmed in advance so your last morning stays unhurried.

Dream Day Tours Golden Triangle and Tiger Safari Tour is definitely worth booking! Review of Dream Day Tours - Golden Triangle plus Tiger Safari Tour This past June my wife and I traveled to India with one of my wife’s colleagues to visit her husband’s hometown in Assam, India. It was great seeing a part of India from the perspective of a family that lived there, but since this was my wife’s first time to India, we decided to book a tour to show her some other beautiful sites. And so, we booked a lovely tour through Dream Day Tours, which is based in Jaipur. It was called the Golden Triangle Tour with Tiger Safari. It was just the two of us on the tour, so Dream Day Tours catered everything to our needs and desires. To begin, we flew into Delhi and Dream Day arranged for a driver to bring us from the airport to the Welcomehotel by ITC in Dwarka. Excellent hotel with very good food. The next day, we started our tour with the driver that was assigned to us, Jeetu Singh. Jeetu was great and transported us to our various destinations for the entire tour. We were also provided with a local guide for Delhi, Aarif Sheikh. Aarif was an excellent guide. He gave us a lot of historical and cultural information and took us to Jama Masjid, which was a spectacular mosque built in the time of the Mughals in the 1600’s, and still used for prayer today. We also got a bicycle rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, which is a lively and colorful market nearby. We were also taken to a grand Sikh Temple and learned of the generosity of the Sikh’s to their pilgrims and temple visitors. We appreciated the visits to the monuments and museums that were made around the life and death of Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi. The next morning Jeetu brought us to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. We were met there by our guide Vipin. The Taj is spectacular, and basically was the only site we visited in Agra. Vipin brought us to various places to see the Taj under different views and at sunrise and sunset. We had total access to the Taj and its grounds, and Vipin, an amateur photographer took many beautiful and romantic photos of us with the Taj as a background. In fact, he took such a beautiful photo of us that we both use it as our most recent FB profile page. He definitely has talent as a photographer! On our way from Agra to Jaipur, Jeetu had us visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was the capital of the Mughal empire under Emperor Akbar in the 1500’s. This was certainly worth the visit. And we also stopped at a step well, which was a structure that was used historically to provide water to the inhabitants of the area. It was really different, fascinating, and ingenious! In Jaipur, the Pink City, we were again provided with a guide that was very versed in Indian culture and history, Mr. Raghuveer. He immediately brought us the Hawa Mahal, or Wind Palace, which is an incredibly beautiful structure overlooking a large busy square. We were again brought there by the Dream Day Tours owner, Ashfaq, in the evening, to see its beauty at night. Phenomenal! We had stressed that, besides seeing traditional tourist sites, we wanted to get an experience that showed us some of what really goes on in Jaipur streets, so Mr. Raghuveer took us to the flower market, where we were showered with flowers. This seemed especially appropriate for us since we had just celebrated our 40th anniversary. It was wild, and the flowers were beautiful, and an Indian friend of ours said it was like we were getting married! Then we visited the extraordinarily ornate and expansive Amber Fort, which was built in the 1500s by a Hindu Raj that had a political alliance with the Muslim Moghul Emperor Akbar. Beyond beautiful! Didn’t think that could be topped, but then we were brought to the City Palace, which was unbelievable in its majesty! Other things that made the trip a super experience were seeing a real snake charmer and having a hands-on interaction with an elephant, which was very weird, very exciting, and a little unnerving! We were definitely in India, far from home! And since we were so far, my wife wanted to go on a tiger safari, which we did at the Ranthambore National Park. We were lucky enough to spot some tigers in their natural environment, and we also saw other wildlife like bears, crocodiles, wild boars, a slew of peacocks and peahens, and other big birds and wildlife! It was all good, and Ashfaq at Dream Day Tours made it all possible for us by coordinating our itinerary, providing us with excellent guides, great hotels (with dinners and breakfasts included most days), and providing us with our beloved driver, Jeetu, who got us to every site and more, and then to the airport in ample time to catch our flight home! Thank you, Dream Day Tours!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

❤️Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Better than we could have imagined! This was the most well organised trip we could have asked for! Ashfaq and the team couldn't have done more to make the trip better - hotel was stunning, lifts to and from Safari on time (and aircon!) and the best Safari, 2 groups and 1 private ( we saw 7 Tigers). This was a trip tailored to us, made very special! Highly recommend Dream Day Tours if you want the best trip of a life time at a great price!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Good Experience We had a great experience. My friend and I booked the trip just two weeks before arriving in India, and they responded quickly and made everything possible. We shared what we wanted to see, and they created a plan around it. We also had a fantastic driver who was very kind and always made sure we had everything we needed, including water, soda, and beer.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Saw Tigers and Crocodiles! We did 3 safaris, on the first two we saw lots of wildlife including monkeys, deer, hyenas, peacocks and other birds, but no tigers… And then on the third, we were lucky enough to see on four separate occasions a tiger casually strolling through its natural habitat. We got close enough to take good photos and one even walked straight past the Jeep! We also saw a couple of crocodiles by the lake which topped it off. Very enjoyable experience!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Why High-End Travelers Come to India
For travelers who’ve already done Paris, the Amalfi Coast, or Kyoto in high style, India offers something genuinely different: depth. This isn’t a country of preserved history behind glass it’s a country where seven hundred-year-old forts, living temples, and royal families whose descendants still visit their former palaces all exist in the same afternoon. Luxury travelers come to India not to escape the world, but to go further into it with the level of comfort and privacy that makes that possible.
There’s also a practical draw: India offers a caliber of hospitality architecture, personal service, cuisine, craftsmanship that would cost significantly more to access at the same level in Europe or the Middle East. A palace stay here isn’t a compromise on luxury. It’s often the same standard, in a setting no other country can offer.
How India's Luxury Segment Differs From the West
Western luxury hospitality is often about consistency the same exceptional standard, city after city, largely interchangeable in design. Indian luxury hospitality works differently, and it’s worth understanding why before you book.
∙ Heritage over uniformity: many of India’s top properties are actual palaces and forts, not purpose-built towers designed to feel like one. Rambagh Palace has a history; it isn’t styled to look like it has one.
∙ Higher personal attention: staff-to-guest ratios at top Indian properties are often notably higher than Western equivalents, and service tends to be personal and remembered, not procedural.
∙ Ritual and welcome: expect small, deliberate touches a traditional welcome on arrival, personalized turndown, details specific to the region you’re in rather than a standardized global checklist.
∙ Value at the top end: five-star Indian hospitality, including palace properties, is generally priced below equivalent-caliber stays in Western Europe or the US, even before accounting for what’s included around it.
∙ The difference isn’t better or worse it’s a different philosophy of luxury. Western luxury polishes a standard. Indian luxury tells you a story, and puts you inside it.
How We Make This Effortless
The gap between wanting a trip like this and actually having one is almost always logistics and that’s the part we take off your hands.
∙ One point of contact from your first enquiry through your departure, not a rotating cast of agents ∙ A dedicated tour manager reachable throughout your trip by phone, WhatsApp, or email ∙ Private luxury vehicle and driver in every city, plus a personal guide never a shared itinerary
∙ Hotel liaison handled directly with Leela, Oberoi, and Taj on your behalf, including any special requests (anniversaries, dietary needs, room preferences)
∙ Transparent, secure international payment card, bank transfer, or Revolut, with a formal invoice under our registered business name

Frequently Asked Questions
What actually makes this tour "luxury," beyond the hotels?
The hotels are the most visible part, but the difference runs through everything: a private vehicle and guide in every city (never shared), a dedicated tour manager reachable throughout your trip, direct hotel liaison for special requests, and an itinerary paced for comfort rather than covering the maximum number of sights.
Can we choose which brand Oberoi, Leela, or Taj we stay at in each city?
Yes. The standard itinerary pairs The Leela Palace (Delhi), The Oberoi Amarvilas (Agra), and Taj Rambagh Palace (Jaipur) so you experience all three brands, but any property can be swapped for another flagship option for example, The Oberoi Rajvilas or Leela Palace Jaipur in place of Rambagh Palace.
What's the actual difference between the Oberoi, Leela, and Taj experiences?
Oberoi is known for understated, meticulous service and architectural precision. Taj properties, especially the palace hotels, carry genuine royal history you’re staying in a real former residence, not a themed replica. Leela blends traditional Indian hospitality customs with a more contemporary design sensibility. All three are exceptional; the right fit depends on whether you value quiet minimalism, historical authenticity, or modern polish.
Why does luxury travel in India cost less than equivalent luxury in Europe?
India’s cost of skilled labor and land is lower than Western Europe, which means five-star and palace-level hospitality high staff ratios, hand-finished architecture, personalized service is priced more accessibly here without any reduction in quality. You’re generally getting the same or higher caliber of experience for less.
Is this tour suitable for a honeymoon or anniversary?
Yes this is one of our most requested itineraries for exactly that. Let us know the occasion when booking and we’ll arrange room decor, a private dinner, or other touches directly with the hotels.
Is the itinerary private, or are we grouped with other guests?
Fully private, your vehicle, driver, and guide are exclusively yours for all 6 days no fixed group schedule, no other travelers added to your itinerary.
Can we extend this trip to include other luxury properties, like Udaipur or Jodhpur?
Yes. Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur and Taj Umaid Bhawan or The Oberoi Udaivilas can all be added let us know how many extra days you have and we’ll extend the route.
Do you arrange private or after-hours access to any monuments?
Where it’s officially permitted, yes for example, early sunrise entry to the Taj Mahal ahead of the general crowds, Fully private after-hours access to state-run monuments is restricted by the Archaeological Survey of India regardless of operator, but we’ll always arrange the earliest and least crowded viewing windows available.
What's the typical pace of each day is it rushed?
No. This itinerary is deliberately paced for two to three key experiences per day rather than a packed sightseeing checklist, with time built in to actually enjoy the hotels themselves, not just sleep in them.
Do you provide a dedicated tour manager or just a driver and guide?
Both. Beyond your daily driver and city guides, a dedicated tour manager is reachable by phone, WhatsApp, or email throughout your trip for anything that comes up — a change of plans, a special request, or simply a question.
How far in advance should we book, given these are flagship properties?
Suites at Rambagh Palace, Amarvilas, and The Leela Palace can book out months ahead during peak season (October–March). We’d recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance for peak dates, though we’re happy to check live availability for shorter notice.
What payment methods do you accept at this price point?
International card, bank transfer, or Revolut, You’ll receive a formal invoice under our registered business name, with full pricing confirmed and reconfirmed before any payment is taken.
Do you handle visas as well as the tour itself?
We handle everything on the ground in India hotels, guiding, private transport, and hotel liaison. Indian e-visas are applied for independently through the government portal, though we’re glad to advice on the process.
Is travel insurance recommended, even for a luxury tour?
Yes, we’d always recommend comprehensive travel insurance regardless of trip tier it isn’t included in the package price.
What's the cancellation policy for a luxury booking like this?
Given the limited suite availability at these properties, luxury bookings generally require earlier confirmation and have less flexible cancellation terms than standard hotel tours. Full details are on our Booking & Cancellation Policy page we’ll walk you through the specific terms for your dates before you book.
Is airport pickup and drop-off included?
Yes our representative meets you at Delhi airport on arrival, and departure transfers are arranged from Jaipur or Delhi depending on your onward flight.
Can this tour be done outside the October–March peak season?
Yes, and it’s often a better value April to June is hot but the cities and hotels are far less crowded, and July to September (monsoon) brings dramatic skies and green landscapes rarely seen in tourist photos. Suite availability at flagship properties is also easier to secure outside peak months.
