8-DAYS GOLDEN TRIANGLE + GOA TOUR : Heritage, Taj Mahal & Indian Beaches
Forts and palaces, then the coast: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur's heritage sights followed by 3 days on Goa's beaches. 8 days for families, friends and couples who want both.
8 Days Golden Triangle + Goa Tour: Heritage, Taj Mahal & Indian Beaches
Most India trips end where the palaces do. This one doesn’t. After the forts, the marble, and the bazaars of the Golden Triangle, the entire mood shifts — sand underfoot, seafood on the table, and three unhurried days on Goa’s coast to let it all sink in. Heritage by day, beach by evening: a combination built for families, friends, and couples who want both the wow of India’s most iconic sights and the ease of doing absolutely nothing for a while.
Why This Route Is Different
A standard Golden Triangle tour ends in Jaipur, and a standard Goa trip never touches North India at all. This route combines both, deliberately, so the contrast becomes part of the experience.
- Goa - India's most famous coastline, with beach shacks, Portuguese-era churches and forts, and a completely different pace and cuisine from anywhere else on this route
- A genuinely different food culture - Goan seafood curries, fresh catch grilled beachside, and local Portuguese-influenced flavors, a world away from Rajasthan's thalis and Mughal-era Agra
- A flexible finish - fly out from Delhi or Mumbai, whichever gives you the best onward connection, rather than backtracking north
None of this is a bolted-on beach add-on. Three full days in Goa is enough to properly unwind, not just tick a box — so the trip closes on rest and good food, not another packed sightseeing day.

Your 8-Day Journey, Day by Day
Arrive in Delhi and settle in, then head straight into a half-day of sightseeing — the Red Fort and Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, then Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate, each representing a different chapter of the city’s history. Overnight in Delhi.
Drive to Agra (approx. 3.5-4 hours), visit the red sandstone Agra Fort, and see the Taj Mahal in the golden light of late afternoon — a monument that outdoes every photograph you’ve seen of it. Overnight in Agra.
An early visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise if you’d like a second look in different light, then travel to Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital, along the way. Arrive in Jaipur by evening. Overnight in Jaipur (night 1 of 2).
A full day in Jaipur: Amber Fort by jeep or on foot, the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and the astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar. In the evening, shop Jaipur’s bazaars — gemstones, block-printed textiles and traditional jewelry. Overnight in Jaipur (night 2 of 2).
Transfer to Jaipur airport for your flight to Goa. On arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort, and let the trip shift gears entirely — evening at leisure on the sand. Overnight in Goa (night 1 of 3).
A morning exploring Old Goa’s UNESCO-listed Portuguese-era churches, a world away from the forts and palaces of the past few days. The afternoon is yours — beach time, a stroll through a local market, or simply doing nothing at all. Overnight in Goa (night 2 of 3).
A full free day to enjoy Goa at your own pace — swim, relax on the sand, try a beach shack seafood lunch, or add on an optional spice plantation tour or sunset cruise. Overnight in Goa (night 3 of 3).
A relaxed final morning on the beach before your transfer to Goa airport, for your onward flight to Delhi or Mumbai — whichever connects best with your international departure.
Practical note: whether you fly out from Delhi or Mumbai depends on which gives you the best connection for your international flight — let us know your onward plans and we’ll advise on the better fit.
Before You Travel - Important Notes
- The Taj Mahal is closed to visitors on Fridays — the itinerary is adjusted automatically if your dates fall on one
- This route requires one internal flight, from Jaipur to Goa — we recommend booking as soon as your dates are confirmed, since fares rise closer to departure
- Goa is at its best from November to February; the monsoon (roughly June to September) brings heavy rain and rough seas, and isn't recommended for a beach-focused trip
- Shoulders should be covered when visiting Old Goa's churches, out of respect for active places of worship
- North Goa is livelier, with more nightlife and water sports; South Goa is quieter and more upscale — let us know your preference and we'll choose your resort area accordingly

Dream Day Tours Golden Triangle and Tiger Safari Tour is definitely worth booking! Review of Dream Day Tours - Golden Triangle plus Tiger Safari Tour This past June my wife and I traveled to India with one of my wife’s colleagues to visit her husband’s hometown in Assam, India. It was great seeing a part of India from the perspective of a family that lived there, but since this was my wife’s first time to India, we decided to book a tour to show her some other beautiful sites. And so, we booked a lovely tour through Dream Day Tours, which is based in Jaipur. It was called the Golden Triangle Tour with Tiger Safari. It was just the two of us on the tour, so Dream Day Tours catered everything to our needs and desires. To begin, we flew into Delhi and Dream Day arranged for a driver to bring us from the airport to the Welcomehotel by ITC in Dwarka. Excellent hotel with very good food. The next day, we started our tour with the driver that was assigned to us, Jeetu Singh. Jeetu was great and transported us to our various destinations for the entire tour. We were also provided with a local guide for Delhi, Aarif Sheikh. Aarif was an excellent guide. He gave us a lot of historical and cultural information and took us to Jama Masjid, which was a spectacular mosque built in the time of the Mughals in the 1600’s, and still used for prayer today. We also got a bicycle rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, which is a lively and colorful market nearby. We were also taken to a grand Sikh Temple and learned of the generosity of the Sikh’s to their pilgrims and temple visitors. We appreciated the visits to the monuments and museums that were made around the life and death of Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi. The next morning Jeetu brought us to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. We were met there by our guide Vipin. The Taj is spectacular, and basically was the only site we visited in Agra. Vipin brought us to various places to see the Taj under different views and at sunrise and sunset. We had total access to the Taj and its grounds, and Vipin, an amateur photographer took many beautiful and romantic photos of us with the Taj as a background. In fact, he took such a beautiful photo of us that we both use it as our most recent FB profile page. He definitely has talent as a photographer! On our way from Agra to Jaipur, Jeetu had us visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was the capital of the Mughal empire under Emperor Akbar in the 1500’s. This was certainly worth the visit. And we also stopped at a step well, which was a structure that was used historically to provide water to the inhabitants of the area. It was really different, fascinating, and ingenious! In Jaipur, the Pink City, we were again provided with a guide that was very versed in Indian culture and history, Mr. Raghuveer. He immediately brought us the Hawa Mahal, or Wind Palace, which is an incredibly beautiful structure overlooking a large busy square. We were again brought there by the Dream Day Tours owner, Ashfaq, in the evening, to see its beauty at night. Phenomenal! We had stressed that, besides seeing traditional tourist sites, we wanted to get an experience that showed us some of what really goes on in Jaipur streets, so Mr. Raghuveer took us to the flower market, where we were showered with flowers. This seemed especially appropriate for us since we had just celebrated our 40th anniversary. It was wild, and the flowers were beautiful, and an Indian friend of ours said it was like we were getting married! Then we visited the extraordinarily ornate and expansive Amber Fort, which was built in the 1500s by a Hindu Raj that had a political alliance with the Muslim Moghul Emperor Akbar. Beyond beautiful! Didn’t think that could be topped, but then we were brought to the City Palace, which was unbelievable in its majesty! Other things that made the trip a super experience were seeing a real snake charmer and having a hands-on interaction with an elephant, which was very weird, very exciting, and a little unnerving! We were definitely in India, far from home! And since we were so far, my wife wanted to go on a tiger safari, which we did at the Ranthambore National Park. We were lucky enough to spot some tigers in their natural environment, and we also saw other wildlife like bears, crocodiles, wild boars, a slew of peacocks and peahens, and other big birds and wildlife! It was all good, and Ashfaq at Dream Day Tours made it all possible for us by coordinating our itinerary, providing us with excellent guides, great hotels (with dinners and breakfasts included most days), and providing us with our beloved driver, Jeetu, who got us to every site and more, and then to the airport in ample time to catch our flight home! Thank you, Dream Day Tours!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

❤️Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Better than we could have imagined! This was the most well organised trip we could have asked for! Ashfaq and the team couldn't have done more to make the trip better - hotel was stunning, lifts to and from Safari on time (and aircon!) and the best Safari, 2 groups and 1 private ( we saw 7 Tigers). This was a trip tailored to us, made very special! Highly recommend Dream Day Tours if you want the best trip of a life time at a great price!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Good Experience We had a great experience. My friend and I booked the trip just two weeks before arriving in India, and they responded quickly and made everything possible. We shared what we wanted to see, and they created a plan around it. We also had a fantastic driver who was very kind and always made sure we had everything we needed, including water, soda, and beer.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Saw Tigers and Crocodiles! We did 3 safaris, on the first two we saw lots of wildlife including monkeys, deer, hyenas, peacocks and other birds, but no tigers… And then on the third, we were lucky enough to see on four separate occasions a tiger casually strolling through its natural habitat. We got close enough to take good photos and one even walked straight past the Jeep! We also saw a couple of crocodiles by the lake which topped it off. Very enjoyable experience!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Frequently Asked Questions
Why combine the Golden Triangle with Goa?
It’s one of our most requested combinations, especially for families, friends and couples who want both the heritage and history of North India and proper time to relax afterward. Rather than choosing one or the other, this route gives you both in a single trip.
How do we get from Jaipur to Goa?
By domestic flight, which we quote separately from the main package since fares vary by booking date. We recommend booking this as early as possible, once your travel dates are confirmed.
Should we end the trip in Delhi or Mumbai?
It depends on your onward or international flight connections. Let us know your travel plans, and we’ll advise on whichever gives you the smoother, better-connected finish.
What's the best time of year for this trip?
October to March suits the Golden Triangle leg best. For Goa specifically, November to February is ideal; the monsoon, roughly June to September, brings heavy rain and isn’t recommended for a beach-focused trip.
Is this suitable for families with children?
Yes — the private vehicle and flexible pacing on the Golden Triangle leg work well for families, and Goa’s resorts and beaches are an easy, relaxed way to close out the trip.
North Goa or South Goa — which is better?
North Goa is livelier, with more nightlife, markets and water sports. South Goa is quieter and more upscale, with calmer beaches. Let us know your preference and we’ll recommend the resort area to match.
Is this a private tour?
The Delhi, Agra and Jaipur leg is fully private — your vehicle, driver and guide are exclusively yours. In Goa, you’re free to explore independently, with private transfers included.
What's included once we're in Goa?
Your beachfront accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner, and private airport transfers. Activities such as water sports, a spice plantation tour, or a sunset cruise are optional and quoted separately.
Can we extend our time in Goa, or shorten the Golden Triangle leg?
Yes — this itinerary is easily adjusted. Extend Goa by a few days, or reduce Jaipur to one night if you’d rather spend more time on the coast. Let us know your priorities.
What payment methods do you accept?
International card, bank transfer, or Revolut — you’ll receive a formal invoice under our registered business name, so there’s no need to carry cash for the full amount.
Is airport pickup and drop-off included?
Yes — our representative meets you at Delhi airport on arrival, and you’re met and transferred at each stage, through to your final drop-off in Goa, Delhi or Mumbai.
